Hey Folks! Can you believe it's already mid june?! I can't either. It's already time to make our plans for the 4th of July. Hopefully this year will be a little less rainy...
Without futher ado, There are a lot of Great Places to Celebrate July 4th in Northern Colorado-
FORT COLLINS - https://www.fcgov.com/july4th/
Fort Collins always does a great job with July 4th, and it all surrounds CITY PARK. There is the Firecracker 5K in the Morning (7:30am) then the parade will begin at 10am, followed by the Family Fun Zone (East Side of the Park), live music, and food trucks all day. Fireworks will begin at 9.35PM!
Best way to navigate Fort Collins for the Fireworks - the MAX Bus System is offering free rides from CSU and the Downtown Transit Center. Biking is also a great way to get down to the festival too.
Timnath's Celebration will kick off at 6pm at Timnath Reservior. There will be lots of free activities for your kiddos, food trucks, and swimming all day at the Reservior! Fireworks will begin at 9.30pm.
City of Loveland will host their 4th of July Festival from 4pm - dark at North Lake Park 2750 N Taft Ave. They will have lots of activities as well, including a kids bike parade (pre registration is encouraged), food trucks, face painting, games, and more! Parking can be a challenge so best to ride share or take a Lyft or Uber.
Celebrate the 4th of July at Boardwalk Park in Windsor! Greeley Philharmonic will be playing music from 7:15-9:15, and Fireworks will follow shortly after that! Food Trucks and Local Vendors will be open from 10am - 9.30pm.
The Town of Wellington is also doing some fun activities for the 4th! They are having their annual Pancake Breakfast (7AM-10AM), followed by the parade at 10AM. In addition, there will be live music, food trucks, beer garden, and more! Shuttles are available for this event as well - pickup locations outside of the Municipal Services Building (Third Street) and the intersection of E County Road 64 and Buffalo Creek Parkway.
Lots of Fun ways to spend our nation's independence day! We hope you have a safe and fun 4th of July.
