Easter Egg Hunts in NoCo 2025!

Does anyone understand why Easter is a floating holiday? I was wondering about this last week while pondering my newsletter content, so I looked it up! Easter always falls on the Sunday after the First Full Moon after the Spring Equinox. This year, this Full moon, or the Paschal (Passover) Moon, falls on April 12th. Thus, we have a moving target, but it’s good to know that it can’t ever be earlier than March 21st, the Spring Equinox, that date doesn't move!

 

So, with Easter being so late this year, maybe there’s hope for a nice Spring day. Now that  idea is a moving target!

 

There are a ton of great spots to sugar your kids up the days before easter! Here are a few that I found across NoCo:

 

FORT COLLINS

 

South FOCO: Christ Fellowship Church- 3850 Ziegler Rd – April 19th at 10-11.30am They will have two times for Egg Hunts ( Prek 10:20am Elementary 10:40am), doughnuts for a snack, Bags for Easter Hunting, Bounce houses, and more! CFC is located near Ziegler and Horsetooth. More info below!

Midtown FOCO:

LifePointe Church 900 E Prospect Road – April 19th 12:30-2:30 pm

West Side FOCO:

City Light Church April 19th from 1-3pm For you West-Siders, City Light Church off of Taft Hill Near W Elizabeth is hosting an egg hunt from 1-3pm on April 19th. They will have egg hunts, bounce houses, face painting, blow up balloons, and more!

WINDSOR –

Windsor Rec Center on Friday April 18th 10-12pm For your littles ages 3-5, come check out this fun Easter Egg Event that is not on Saturday! This fun Egg Hunt incorporates the Swimming Pool with an Egg Hunt as well as Egg Hunting in the gym. The Easter Bunny will also be stopping by! Please reserve ahead of time, and the cost is $10!

JOHNSTOWN-

 

United Methodist Church’s Easter Carnival on Saturday April 19th from 11-1pm

 

This Easter Festival has a petting Zoo, multiple easter egg hunts, bounce houses, and more! Located at Johnstown United Methodist Church, 108 King Ave Johnstown CO.

EATON -

 

Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday April 19th at 9am

 

Come to the Eaton Town Square for Eaton’s Easter Egg Festivities! Egg Hunts will be divided by Age Groups. Free Candy, Activities and more!

 

SEVERANCE -

 

Blue Spruce Park Wednesday, April 16th at 5.30

 

Here is another awesome Easter Event that is not on busy Easter Weekend- but you’ll have to plan accordingly. This one is on Wednesday before Easter in the evening. This is aimed for Kids 10 and under- Easter Egg Hunts with Prizes, Golden Eggs, and more.  There are also photo props for those awesome family easter photos, and lots of kiddo games. Come down to the First United Presbyterian Church in Downtown Loveland near the Hip Streets Construction Area for some good ol’ Easter Egg Hunting! Children ages 5 and under can enjoy 3 waves of Egg Hunting: 4, 4.30, and 5pm! Please sign up in advance – each child must have a ticket!
